| Serena Galloway from Windsor, CO | | December 2010 | Rating: | | This is our second trip to the Mountain Rose. We brought the whole family this year and celebrated Christmas here. What a treat to open presents Christmas morning in the beautifully decorated cabin in front of the fire, with it snowing out-doors We felt like we were in a fairytale. As always it was so relaxing and restful here. We all enjoyed hanging out together, playing games, watching movies and sitting in the hot tub. Marge and Maggie thought of everything including sleds so the kids could go sledding, Thanks again for a great vacation we want to come in the summer next time This is a GREAT retreat!
Warmly, the Galloway family
P.S. It is also great to be able to bring our dogs. They had so much time playing outside. | | | Kathleen Nelson from Inez, TX | | July 2010 | Rating: | | Loved being here! It will not be easy to leave... Very secluded and peaceful. We are here in the summer and the weather is beautiful. Can't wait to come in the winter. We saw chipmunks and mule deer at the house. Maggie and Marge were great! They would have left us all alone, but we enjoyed their company so much we had them over for dinner twice.
The cabin has any and everything you could want or need. It"s very spacious and the wrap around porch is wonderful! We brought our boxers and they loved the porch as much as we have.
Thank you again Maggie and Marge, we love your place. Surely hope to see you in the winter. With love, Kathleen | | | Cindy Boland from Duncunville, TX | | June 2010 | Rating: | | Was looking for a place to get away and relax. Mountain Rose fit the bill. Loved the open floor plan downstairs and especially the wrap around deck outside. Best time of day was drinking coffee outside in the morning and listening to the birds. Everything is provided. Bring a few groceries and you're set. Only regret is not living here. Going back to 95 degree Texas is not motivating my departure. | | | Diane Zile from , CO | | April 2010 | Rating: | | What an outstanding retreat!! We travelled here with our pups for some much needed R&R. Maggie and Marge took great care of us. They've thought of every little detail in the cabin....the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen with top of the line pots, pans and appliances. It was a dream! The beds were warm and cozy...the surrounding grounds were a treat to hike. Every little detail was thought through. We couldn't have had a nicer experience. It is a truly amazing place! If you have the opportunity to have Maggie cook for you. It was a marvelous dining experience. The food was amazing... definitely 4+ stars!! A highlight of our vacation.

Our early October stay was our second stay at the Mountain Rose and we look forward to many more in the future! We find the MR to be an oasis of tranquility and respit from the stress, complexity and demands of our everyday lives. Our yellow-lab mix, Boo-Boo, showed every sign of enjoying the stay with us as much as we loved it. We brought a few good books, found many others already at the cabin, and honestly had a chance to READ for hours for a change. Maggie and Marge are wonderful hosts, knowledgeable about the area, congenial and very helpful! They have equipped the MR impeccably with everything that anyone might need (including two full bathrooms) from a couple to a large family with children of any age. We went hiking with Boo-Boo on a trail that skirted a lake near Red Feather Lakes and were treated to breathtaking groves of shimmering aspen in yellow, gold, red and orange bordered by the rich green of evergreen forests with beautiful mountain backdrops. This is an area of Colorado where we find solitude or congenial company as we wish. The area is home to a variety of wildlife so a little care with pets and little people is advisable; but beautiful animal watching is at hand. It is surprising how accessible the little town of Red Feather Lakes is. We look forward to the winter wonder and to the wild flowers of spring at this lovely cabin! | | | Vic Rompa from Westminister, CO | | October 2007 | Rating: | |
I scoured the internet to find the best place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary.
I found the Mountain Rose Website about 3 years ago, but was not "quick enough" to sign up in time until this year. And I am so glad I did. It was our 20th wedding Anniversary.
Not being able to book the the cabin on a moments notice is actually one of the best features of the Mountain Rose. Individual Attention.
There is only 1 cabin, and you have the full attention of both Maggie and Marge (if/when you want it).
The outdoor hot tub was a big hit as well as the outdoor fire pit. Layout of the house was also fantastic to offer seclusion. Nice design.
We did some off roading during the day. Some very nice level 5,6 roads out there. You really don't even need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to take in some nice back country scenery.
But was really topped it off....
A gourmet meal without having to travel.
The meal was served at Maggie and Marge's house.
The house is far enough away so the cabin is truly private but only a short walking distance down a lighted path in the woods.
The meal was fantastic. I highly recommend it. Just a short conversation on what to prepare a week before and we were treated to truly gourmet food. Appetizers (which consisted of prized Matsutake mushrooms, brie, eggplant hummus, and sliced pears in season with bread and fancy crackers). Butternut Squash soup as a starter (homemade of course with excellent flavors served in a loaf of bread), Pork loin stuffed with prosciutto and parmesan cheese served with fresh asparagus and mashed roots (potatoes, celery root, and carrots), and finally a great chocolate cake (almost flourless) topped with ice cream and a raspberry sauce all with a very nice bottle of wine. We arrived at 6:30 and left at 9:30. Three hours, how relaxing, felt like I was in France or Italy. Everything was served hot and while waiting for the next course we talked with Marge/Maggie, my wife, walked around and admired the log cabin structure. And get this, they actually picked the Matsutake mushrooms themselv
es! There are only 3 areas in the US where they grow! What a treat. That is how they approach all ingredients. Only the best.
We will be going back. Maggie and Marge have truly created a one of a kind experience. Any guy who wants to show his special someone how much they mean to him, this is the place.
It will not be forgotten. Thank you Maggie and Marge.

The first trip in 2006 we did not know that we should have had Maggie and Marge prepare a meal for us. On our second trip we arranged to have a Valentines dinner prepared. It was a decision that I recommend everyone who stays at the Mountain Rose should make. The meal simply was the best my wife and I have ever had, and we eat at many 4 star restaurants. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the meal started with gourmet appetizers that could have been a meal in itself. It just got better from there!! Maggie and Marge are great hosts and the stay at the Rose this year included snow falling gently while we enjoyed the hot tub, and beautiful scenery on our winter walks. Everything is though of and taken care of, and you will not find a nice cabin to stay at than the mountain rose. We will return often to enjoy this wonderful place!

Well you can find all of that and more at the Mountain Rose . Not to mention gracious and accommodating hosts, they are the best. You will feel right at home. There are so many things to do for excitement. Some of the things we enjoyed there were the quiet, hiking, walks around the lake and watching the wild animals. We have yet to try some of the others. However, if your life is as busy as ours, just a chance to get away from the rat-race and the noise means so much. The Mountain Rose is a beautiful place inside and out. For us just sitting in the Jacuzzi under the stars with the snow falling all around us was a dream. When we return to the city after coming from the Mountain Rose we always feel stronger, rejuvenated and ready for the world. The only draw back is it's always to short of a stay. We recommend that you get together with family and friends or alone and visit for yourselves. We are sure there is something there for you. We guarantee you will keep coming back for more....Sincerely, Mr and Mrs Pettersen

| | | Mitzi Wilkinson from Sulphur, LA | | January 2007 | Rating: | | I have always dreamed of spending Christmas with my family nestled in a cozy cabin in the snow-covered mountains of Colorado. Mountain Rose made that dream a reality, but far better than I had ever imagined. Our Stay at Mountain Rose was like something out of a Christmas storybook. Upon entering Mountain Rose for the first time, Christmas music played softly in the background, a beautiful Christmas tree stood in the corner of the room, and every room was warmly decorated for Christmas. Our first morning at Mountain Rose (Christmas Eve), we woke to falling snow. It snowed all day! We played in the snow for a while and then went in to warm ourselves by the fire while sipping on hot tea and cocoa. In the evenings we enjoyed playing some of the many games that were stacked in the foyer of the cabin or we curled up and watched movies from the large selection available. The cabin was filled with the smells of holiday cooking as we prepared our Christmas dinner in the kitchen that boasts all the conveniences of home. There were also the excursions to Red Feather Lakes Village for shopping and Beaver Meadows Resort for snow tubing and ice skating that we enjoyed very much. Several times during our stay we had the pleasure of seeing a family of rabbits that had taken up residence below the porch of Mountain Rose and one afternoon we had a visit from the local bobcat. My family and I will always treasure the memories of our Christmas spent at Mountain Rose and the friends we made there (Maggie and Marge). Our only regret is that we had to leave a day ear;\ly to avoid being snowed in (not that we would have minded) We were well taken care of during our stay and look forward to returning to this heavenly place!
Thanks Maggie, Marge and Mountain Rose for a Christmas to Remember!

You'll also be struck by how immaculate everything is. When you open the cabinets you'll discover a food processor, blender, crock pots, waffle iron. pie plates, cake pans, pizza pans and the list goes on and on. You'll find the softest, fluffiest towels and wash cloths, Kleenex in every room, down comforters, beautifully decorated bedrooms, games, a whole closet full, about a hundred of the latest DVDs, darts, horseshoes, volleyball equipment etc., and a brand new hot tub. You will never forget your stay at the Mountain Rose. And kids are welcome too, as evident by a baby crib, diaper pail, little people table and chairs, high chair, a special little people roll top desk, etc. It would take some time to think of a necessity or convenience that isn't supplied. But nothing can compare to the surrounding aspen and pines, fields of mountain plants and flowers with a backdrop of pine covered mountains. What a delightful experience, a once of a lifetime experience.

| I was searching for a new place for our family vacation this year and I came across the Mountain Rose Cabin~I read all the reviews and was very excited to try it out for ourselves, very glad we did, cause it is one of the most beautiful cabins that I have ever seen {Also very warm & Homey}~And the hosts, Maggie & Marge were wonderful and very very friendly, helpful & very insightful! ~When you arrive at the cabin, they come and personally greet you and show you around the cabin~ We actually ended up hanging out at the cabin most of our 4 days in Red Feather, there was so much to do! {They have a dart board, board games, horseshoes, a personal hot tub, or a personal fire pit, lots of Reading books, Lots of Current Movies & Kids Video's, Coloring Books & Crayons} Enough to keep your whole family entertained! We went to the grocery store in Loveland, before we went up to the cabin, to get the supplies we thought we would need, but to our surprise we ended up packing most of them out with us~This cabin is fully stocked, with everything you could imagine~{except food} There are also a lot of lakes, {some private}, but accessible for a fee, to go fishing or swimming in!~ We took the kids fishing one afternoon, and caught 7 fish in like an hour or hour and a half~Anyway's I think you get the drift! If you are ever looking to get away on a perfect family vacation, or romantic getaway, we highly highly recommend you to come stay at Mountain Rose~We are really looking forward to going back in February, and we are gonna try one of Maggie's home cooked gourmet meals~
~P.S. We like like to say thanks Maggie, for coming to our rescue so quickly, and helping us jumpstart the battery on our car~We greatly appreciated that~
~We are really looking forward to coming back to visit our new friends in February, and we are wishing you best of luck to keeping this cabin up and running~

Everything was perfect from the fire place in the living room, the hot tub under the stars, the comfortable king size bed and to the fabulous kitchen. We loved exploring the Red Feather lakes area. During our week here, we traveled to Wyoming, the Grasslands, and a rodeo in Loveland and shopping in Ft Collins. There was plenty to do here and we would love to return! Please, feel free to contact me if you have any other questions about our stay. I wish that everyone could enjoy a relaxing vacation at the Mountain Rose! You will not regret it!! |

Just when you think it couldn't get any better with the woodsy smells all around and the warm glow of soft light coming from the front door, our arrival was sweetened with a welcoming, lovely gift basket on the kitchen table filled with fruit, cheeses, candies, and wine. Later we received another surprise, a fun fondue to enjoy between our hottub dips. It just doesn't get any better than this! Gift Baskets, Floral Arrangements, Fondues are available by calling and placing an order two weeks prior to guest arrival. |

| When I read all the customer reviews for Mountain Rose, I wondered what there possibly was left to say. But it turns out that our trip to Mountain Rose was quite different than anyone else's and now I have a great story to share. We reserved the cabin for our anniversary that fell on Friday, March 21, 2003. But two days before that date, Colorado received its worst snowstorm in 90 years. In Fort Collins, we got 32 inches of snow and weren't able to dig out of our driveway until Thursday, the day before our anniversary. Friday morning I called Maggie and Marge, worried about the road conditions in Red Feather Lakes, where they got 64" of snow! The roads had been plowed but were snowpacked, so Maggie and Marge suggested we bring chains but thought we'd be able to get up to the cabin OK. We did fine until we got to the last little road up to the cabin. We stopped there and put on our chains, but try as we might, we couldn't make it up that last hill, even with me pushing the car from behind, slipping and sliding in the snow. We had no idea we were so close! I was really upset at the prospect of not being able to get to the cabin, because I'd been waiting for six months to go to Mountain Rose. We drove dejectedly back to Red Feather Lakes and called the ladies from a little grocery store. In half an hour, our knightess in shining armor arrived--Maggie in her 4WD pickup, chains on all four wheels, and a plow in front. She plowed out an area of a parking lot so we could leave our car there, helped us load all our stuff into her truck, and drove us up to the cabin. On Sunday, she came back, loaded our stuff up again, and took us back to our car. Now how many people would give you that kind of service? We had a wonderful anniversary at the cabin. Sitting out in the hot tub surrounded by feet of snow was a delight. I took lots of pictures; I doubt Red Feather Lakes will see a snowstorm like that again for a long time. We felt so blessed to spend the aftermath in such a beautiful place. Thanks, Maggie and Marge, for making sure we got to the cabin to enjoy our weekend. We had such a great time that before we left we booked the cabin for our next trip--to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. As everyone else has said, Mountain Rose is perfect--beautiful, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Maggie and Marge are warm, wonderful women; you instantly feel like you've always known them. If you haven't gone to Mountain Rose yet, I highly recommend that you do! |

| After we packed our eldest daughter's belongings into the U-haul trailer, we headed north for Mountain Rose. We were a caravan of three vehicles. Bob drove pulling the U-haul. Jessica, the eldest daughter, drove her car, and I followed driving our two youngest daughters, Sarah and Laura. We were only missing Erin. She had traveled to NB with her volleyball team. This weekend was to be the big goodbye to Jess, as she headed into adulthood, a real job, and a grown-up life in MN. We had never been to Mountain Rose before, but I had already bonded with Margie and Maggie on the phone. They were like two mommies welcoming us home . to their mountain refuge from all of life's stresses, of which there had been too many to name. After keeping our caravan together through the draining Labor Day Weekend/CSU vs. CU football game traffic, we pulled into Fort Collins and stopped at the Albertson's for groceries. When we came out, Bob saw that one of the tires on the U-haul was flat. Sigh. This meant a phone call to U-haul's emergency line, and a long wait for a mechanic to show up. The sun was setting fast, soon it would be dark, and we had a ways to go into unfamiliar territory. Just then, an ambulance screamed by, and I said to our troops - this flat tire is only a delay. That ambulance is off to something serious. We have only been delayed. With the proper perspective now in mind, Bob told us to go on without him. He would catch up. We did not want to leave him, but we said we would have supper, a glass of wine and the hot tub waiting for him when he got there. Tired, we drove on, a little sad to leave one of us behind. As we headed west, the scenery began to become amazing the closer we got to Mountain Rose. Earth had projected herself upward, as if she had surfaced for air, and then like it so much she decided to tread the land. Huge rock formations that Earth had thrust out of her way, now rested upon her, and trees - evergreens and deciduous, stood gratefully upon her soil. The backdrop to all of this geology was one of the 5 most beautiful sunsets I have ever witnessed. The richness of the purple, red, gold, pink, and blue enhanced the mountains' majesty, shrouding them in their glorious warmth. It was as if God himself held the brush that stroked the sky that evening. We are not a deeply religious family, but we all sat in awe, as we made our way around every curve, each one revealing a different version of this masterpiece being created before us. I swear I heard God say, "I know how weary you all are. Fear not. You are headed to a piece of heaven on Earth. Enjoy!" And that is what Mountain Rose was for this family, a piece of heaven on Earth. Maggie and Margie are, of course, her two guardian angels. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and rests among the trees and boulders that shelter it and you against the outside world. Each of us woke up the next morning feeling as if we had had the best sleep in years. The hot tub under the stars held us all, and massaged conversations out of us that would otherwise have been stowed into silence and absorbed by the stresses of every day life. We played games, watched movies, cooked, sat in the sun and just let the environment take care of us. It was the perfect place to be together with Jess as we said goodbye to her childhood. I am back in the real world now, but not without a future reservation at Mountain Rose. This next visit I am taking one of my dearest friends in the world, Evelyn, who will be visiting from Gabon, Africa. Mountain Rose will absorb us, shelter us, and our time with her will become yet another chapter of her healing history. Endless thanks to Maggie and Marg, Victoria Clausen Ovitz~ |

| "When we first found Mountain Rose on the Internet, my then-fiance and I really liked the looks of it, but were very hesitant. I mean after all, we both plan on having only one honeymoon in our lives, and did we really want to trust that special time--not to mention money--to a place we've never been before, that we found on the _Internet_, by _ourselves_, without a travel agent or anything? Well, we e-mailed a few of the other people who have left reviews, and asked questions, and received glowing reviews from all of them. Still, though--how did we know these "Maggie and Marge" characters aren't some kind of con-women, or some kind of front for the mob, and the people we were e-mailing didn't work for the outfit that was trying to swindle us? Anyway, after several e-mails, at least mostly satisfied that it wasn't some sort of racquet, we went ahead and sent in our deposit, bought our plane tickets, got married, and headed out there, still not knowing what to expect, exactly. We stopped in Ft. Collins to get all the supplies we would need, too--after all, we were going to be staying in a cabin out in the woods; anything we'd need, we'd have to bring, right? Well, we received a lot of surprises when we arrived--GOOD ones. First of all, when we arrived, it was a little late, and COLD (this was February). Well, they had the place all heated, had low lights on and soft music playing to greet us. Next, the website is not an accurate representation of the cabin itself--the website simply does not do it justice. Cozy, clean, quaint, quiet, clean, beautiful, elegant, clean--these are all words that could be used to describe the place (did I say "clean" three times? that must be because it is in fact INCREDIBLY clean, which was one of our concerns before arriving). And all those supplies we bought in Ft. Collins? We ended up taking almost half of them back. Let's just say the place is well-stocked. The ONLY thing that we needed to bring was food and clothes. Pure and simple. Almost everything else, food and toiletry-wise, was taken care of (except for obvious things, like toothbrushes). When planning your stay there, I recommend making a list of meals, and the things you will need to prepare those meals, and then e-mail Maggie and Marge about the items you're not sure you'll need to buy. You'll be surprised at what you don't. Okay, enough about that, on to the house itself. The place is a work of art. Gorgeous woodworking, art...a very, very nice "mountain country home" motif. Wonderful, comfy beds, good furniture in the living room, the kitchen is nothing short of gourmet...everything was so much better than we imagined. And entertainment: Big TV (and a smaller one in the master bedroom), DVD with several movies from all genres, satellite, several board games for both adults and kids, a "clubhouse" under the stairs where there's--no lie--a little table for them to sit and eat at, sports equipment, hot tub, barbecue pit, several nearby trails...the list goes on and on. You get the idea. Basically, everything they say on the website is true. This is getting a little long--sorry. You get the idea, though, and maybe you can see why I'm babbling: the place is gorgeous, and is a GREAT deal for the money. And to top it all off, Maggie and Marge are great people and wonderful hosts. Their house is maybe 60 or 70 yards away--in visual range--but they are not pushy or overbearing at all (another of our groundless worries). They like to come and greet you when you arrive, and kind of show you around the place, and after that, you won't see them unless you want to--in which case they are more than happy to come over. We look forward to staying there again in the future, and getting to know them even more. And when we left--I kid you not--they had the driveway snowplowed for us! Wonderful hosts! That's about it for now. Feel free to e-mail us with any questions you have about the cabin. But suffice it to say, it is a WONDERFUL place. Thanks, Maggie and Marge! Mitch and Aundra Boeckman |

I highly recommend Mountain Rose! It's beautiful on the inside and has everything you could ever need. But if you think the inside is nice, you go outside and you are at the TOP of the Colorado mountains. There's a nice little restaraunt that's only a few minutes away and a resort that's literally a mile!! (ice skating) It was absolutly the best vacation I've ever had and we had reservations to return before we even left!!!!!! Maggie and Marge are so sweet and if you have a problem or a question, they are so helpful. It's literally like having "friends with a cabin." |

| Mountain Rose is a truely great mountain getaway. I was looking for a quiest, private relaxing place for my family to get away with my parents visiting from the Congo. We did not want to rough it at all! This cabin met all of our needs. There was plenty of places for my pre-schoolers to play so they were not bored and then there was a lot for us adults to do after the kids were in bed. There were video and DVD's to watch, relaxing music to read by on the satellite, a hot tub to relax in, games to play. It was great. We had a wonderful relaxing time, which is exactly what we needed. |

| It took us all of five minutes to understand why Maggie and Marge have such pride in Mountain Rose We were happy to have spent the first week of our married life in such a beautiful place. Our hosts left no stone unturned and went out of their way to assure us a memorable stay. From dozens of roses to champagne to a homemade dessert, Maggie and Marge continued to delight us. The cabin is pristine as is the enviornment. The people of Redfeather Lakes were like out of a story book--Friendly and sincere. We decided on our first day that another visit was a certainty. Thanks to Maggie and Marge and Mountain Rose for helping us begin our lives together! Jason and April |

| The house and property were spectacular! Maggie and Marge have literally thought of every detail. All the comfort and charm you could ask for, as well as all the little extras you could ever use. The hottub and outdoor fire pit were especially memorable. The surrounding area is great for outdoor enthusiasts, and Maggie and Marge generously gave assistance in finding all the hotspots. If you're looking for a mountain getaway, this is second to none!! |

| Choosing a place to spend your holiday can be a very difficult and risky task, especially if you live 5,000 miles away from the desired location. Such was the case when we decided early this year to visit Colorado for our holiday this summer. We defined our needs as very simple. We needed an outstanding family friendly environment where the idea of relaxing is taken as the norm rather than the exception. We soon found Mountain Rose on the Internet along with a few other possibilities. Choosing among the possible prospects, however, became a very simple task. Not only did we love the descriptions and the pictures for one particular site but the reviews from other guests also helped guiding us towards the Mountain Rose. We therefore decided to send an e-mail with a request for further information. You will not believe our surprise when our phone in Iceland rang just few minutes after sending our e-mail and a lady introduced herself as Maggie (or was it Marge) from the Mountain Rose in Colorado in the United States. That phonecall was the beginning of what we now can only describe as a true friendship. The ladies helped us plan our holiday and in early June we spent a week at the Mountain Rose just relaxing with our baby girl and enjoying the scenery. The cabin was all that we expected and we had a fantastic holiday. We look forward to getting a change in the future to spend more time in Colorado and to again stay at the Mountain Rose. Maggie and Marge have gone to what we can only described as the outer limit of human hospitality and we sincerely appreciate the warm welcome that we received during our trip to Colorado. Thanks ladies and we look forward to seeing you again. |

| If you were a mouse at Mountain Rose you would have heard us say several times, "This is so neat!", "Do you believe this place?", "I love it here", and "Maggie and Marge thought of everything!". Of course there were no mice at Mountain Rose, only wonderful little creatures scampering around outside. We especially enjoyed the porch swing, the hot tub, the fireplace and the great kitchen. What a terrific place to relax and enjoy nature! |

| A mere comment or two could never adequately describe the feeling of the Mountain Rose. Not only the feeling you have when you are there but also the feelings that are evoked when you look back on your precious time spent in and on this little piece of heaven. Also intense, is the anticipation and longing for the next visit. I think we were there a total of 5 minutes before I started talking to my husband about the next time we could come back!!!! I have lived in Colorado for 14 years. For 14 years I have been searching for THE cabin that fit the "Colorado Dream". After many wimpy and disappointing rentals, I have finally found it in the Rose. This gem in the wilderness is serene, unspoiled, lovely, immaculate, invigorating, private, personal and fun. Some of our favorite things were the wrap around porch with the world's greatest swing, the Oklahoma Joe which we fired up under a canopy of stars, Maggie's wonderful gift for lighting, the gourmet kitchen, the wildlife and above all else--the tranquility. Marge and Maggie's love and care of this home is apparent in every detail, from the laundry room up to the master suite and right out the window into the beautiful landscaping. I have never packed so little for any cabin rental---they have thought of everything you'll need! No need to lug along kitchen utensils, cookware, firewood, laundry soap or even toys! Our children's favorite things were the "secret club house", rocks to climb on, the books, toys and of course the spa. And for all of you parents out there, be assured that Maggie and Marge have provided plenty of special details to make your children feel welcomed and comfortable as well. This kind of kid-friendly hospitality is quite rare these days and it meant a great deal to us. The Jenkins family has found their ideal vacation rental and we plan to make it a tradition for as long as possible. If you too are looking for the ultimate Rocky Mountain High---look no further. The Rose is a real treasure in a busy, weary world and rejuvenation is only a reservation away! |

| We can't think of a better place to be snowed in. Mountain Rose has spared no expense to make our stay a "paradise" in the Colorado mountains. The cabin, the furnishings, and the many thoughtful "extras" made us feel welcome and very comfortable from the minute we arrived until the sorrowful time we had to leave. We are so blessed that Marge and Maggie have cared enough to share a part of their world with us. |

| Upon our arrival, after driving 21 hours straight, my first glimpse of Mountain Rose assured me I selected the right vacation retreat. The cabin was surrounded by beautiful trees and mountains, and had enough snow on the grounds to give it the look of a place out of the fairy tales. The interior was just as splendid -- impressive, warm, cozy and personable. When we entered the cabin, we felt like it was our home. The cabin was beautifully decorated, and everything that makes a home complete was included from the gourmet kitchen to the cozy bedrooms. When we first met Maggie & Margie, we fell in love with their dynamic, warmhearted personalities, and we were assured once again that we had selected the right vacation. We spent 7 days during Thanksgiving week and, during this time, they gave us the sense of security that if we needed anything -- they would extend a readily hand. Maggie & Margie took time out to show us everything about the cabin, and even gave us tips o! n ice fishing. We were also included with their friends for Thanksgiving dinner. After this wonderful experience, we feel that we have not only found a great vacation spot, but have also begun a new friendship. I have traveled extensively all over the world and have not found a place as adventurous, comfortable, breath-taking and relaxing as Mountain Rose. |

| My husband John and I spent our honeymoon at Mountain Rose. We spent a week in heaven! As a newlywed couple we did not wish to be surrounded by many people and here at Mountain Rose we only met people when we went into town. We had everything we needed during our stay and that made our honeymoon even more special. The best part of the cabin was the hot tub! To sit outside at night and see stars and not hear the sound of cars was wonderful. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend Mountain Rose to any newlyweds. |
